archipelago is looking for a junior (engineer) architect for our Brussels & Leuven office
archipelago – a growing architecture office based in Brussels and Leuven with a diverse portfolio. With the recent expansion of the office and the exploration of new markets, we are looking for talent that can contribute to the further development of archipelago, within a diverse team of architects, engineers, interior architects, urban planners, researchers, sustainability experts, graphic designers, BIM modelers, and many others.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about architecture and future-oriented, sustainable building, generative design and user comfort.

Profile
- Master’s degree as (engineer-)architect
- At least 4 years of experience (including internship)
- For our Brussels office, excellent knowledge of French (native language) is necessary, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- For our Leuven office, excellent knowledge of Dutch (native language) is necessary, knowledge of French is a plus
- Precise, independent, initiative-taking, eager to learn
- Coordinate a project team
- Driving license B is an advantage for traveling to sites and external appointments
- Knowledge of BIM (Revit) and BIM coordination is a plus
Function
- You will participate in large-scale studies and projects (complete execution of projects up to delivery) and perform supporting work for this purpose
- You will work in a team to develop concepts and projects
- You will coordinate and lead a team (assistant architect + intern architects)
- You will conduct site visits and communicate with contractors and construction workers
- You can eventually act as an independent project leader
