Within archipelago, the research and innovation team (R&I) works on research projects and consults design processes for sustainability, circular design and user experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about architecture and wants to engage in future-oriented and future-proof construction, generative design and user comfort.

Profile
- master in engineering/architecture
- 2-3 years professional or academic experience
- experience with Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD
- experience in computing and simulation software
- knowledge of sustainability tools (GRO, Level(s), BREEAM) is a plus
- systematic & structured
- curious and open-minded
- team player with an interest in sharing knowledge
- Dutch and/or French-speaking
Function
- promote the integration of sustainability principles in a project from the conceptual phase onwards
- give advice on sustainable and circular building on the basis of specific studies: sunlight study, daylight simulation, dynamic building simulation, thermal comfort analysis, life cycle analysis on a financial and ecological level, hygrothermal simulations, wind simulations
- supervise evaluation methods and certifications such as BREEAM, GRO, WELL
- undertake your own research and acquire new insights that can be integrated within the projects
- participate in external research projects with renowned institutions and contribute to the development of sustainability tools, practical guides and scientific papers
