Alp’hotel or Lodji Hotel: a little piece of Belgium at the foot of the Alps

Welcome to the heart of the Trois Vallées domain in the French Alps. Located in the Valaisian resort of Saint-Martin de Belleville, the new 4-star Alp’hotel will open its doors next January. Our archipelago team has been present on site since the end of 2019 to monitor the works on a daily basis, an opportunity to become familiar with high mountain architecture and its peculiarities.

The hotel is a complex of 47 rooms, 3 duplex apartments and 3 chalets, which also includes a wellness center with swimming pool, a shop, a bar, a brasserie and a 3-level car park. Combining natural stone and wood, the project fits into the town’s traditional architecture with a contemporary touch. The folded roof echoes the silhouette of the mountain which stands out against the sky. Large terraces extend the interior spaces for the pleasure and relaxation of holidaymakers.

Led by the Baudinet family, the project brings to life a little piece of Belgium in this Valais village. The hotel will be named ‘Lodji’, the restaurant ‘Au Torè’ and the snack bar ‘Volle Petrol’.

Project in collaboration with Bureau d’Etudes Lemaire, BEOS, Semaco and Label5.9, based on a concept by Altiplan.
