archipelago joins BIM cluster established by the BBRI
Today marks the start of a collaboration between archipelago architects and working groups from the BIM cluster established by the BBRI to contribute to developing Belgian standards in the area of BIM. The BIM & ICT technical committee have been divided into six working groups that are working closely together.
Marijn Verlinden of our Leuven office and Erik Cooremans from the office in Brussels are representing archipelago in groups 1 & 2: ‘classification’ and ‘exchange protocols’. The BIM e-catalogue, legal aspects, training programmes and BIM & facility management are themes 3 to 6 addressed by the working groups. In its future-proof vision, the BIM cluster aims to establish the methodology within projects.
