Brand new Booghuys Care home: first residents move in
Yesterday the move in of wzc Booghuys started. A beautiful collaboration between Zorg Leuven and archipelago architects.
The Care home Booghuys is designed to accommodate only elderly residents suffering from dementia. The project focuses on replacing the obsolete infrastructure with a new complex that can accommodate 72 residents, while maintaining the human scale for a maximum of 9 residents per unit. The programme is complemented by an administrative area for ZorgLeuven.
The project results in an integrated urban living environment adapted to the needs of elderly people with dementia.
We wish much security and warmth to the residents and their staff in their new home!
