Construction starts for hospital AZ Diest
Construction of a new hospital for AZ Diest, designed by archipelago in collaboration with GAF and Macobo-Stabo, was officially started this Sunday by Minister of Healthcare Wouter Beke. The new hospital, located at Verversgracht in the city center of Diest, will replace the current campus at the Hasseltsestraat.

The construction of the hospital will take three years and will result in a.o. a new surgical day center, a new maternity department, and a large extension of the geriatric and revalidation department. The old campus will make place for a residential complex with 28 houses and 42 apartments.
