De Kerselaar completed
A home away from home – De Kerselaar is a residence for people with disabilities, designed as a village with a recognisable structure, amidst a green, healing environment. By participating in the daily activities of De Kerselaar at the beginning of the design process, we were able to direct the design to the specific needs of the residents according to scenario-based design. Moreover, with the direct connection to the outdoor environment, abundant daylight, renewable energy and the choice of eco-friendly materials, the importance of nature is at the heart of the project.
