Inauguration of CHRV’s new emergency department
On Monday 16 November, Centre Hospitalier Régional de Verviers (CHRV) East Belgium has inaugurated its new emergency department, designed by archipelago.
The new emergency department was successfully completed due to a productive co-creation design process and the special input from a very committed nursing staff.
After moving into the new premises, works will continue in the old department for the second phase of redevelopment. In the end, the complete new department will have a surface of 3.300 m².
The project is designed around the well-being of its users and focuses on medical efficiency, thanks to a spatial organization and flows based on Rapid Medical Evaluation (RME) processes.
