Joseph Bracops Hospital wins the Future Healthcare Design award

We are proud to announce that the new Joseph Bracops hospital project has just won the Future Healthcare Design award at the European Healthcare Design congress held this week in London!

Joseph Bracops Hospital

The award distinguishes a project that can “demonstrate the potential for outstanding outcomes in masterplanning, place making, wellness, pandemic preparedness and sustainable development, in alignment with the strategic requirements of the healthcare provider to transform their services within the wider community, regional or national health system.”

This is a great acknowledgement for the new Bracops hospital which was designed based on circular economy principles: local and sustainable materials, flexible use and reversibility of buildings, ‘zero energy’ principles and thoughtful prefabrication. The development of public spaces both inside and outside the hospital will ensure its sustainable integration in its urban location.

The project was designed by archipelago architects for the Iris Sud  hospital network in collaboration with NU architectuuratelier, BUUR, Ellyps, MATRIciel, MC-carré and COSEP.
