Laying of foundation stone at Landen municipal childcare centre
At the site of the current Oleyck care campus, the foundation stone was laid for the new childcare centre and “Huis van het Kind”.
This new development is the final element that the PCSW and the City of Landen plan on this site on Oscar Huysecomlaan. The population of Landen has grown so much in recent years that ‘Ons Zonneke’ has faced increasingly longer waiting lists. After 40 years, the current building has clearly served its purpose, so the scheduled relocation in the fourth quarter of 2019 is more than welcome.
