Mobility Hub – hybrid and adaptable car park in Mechelen completed
The new Mobility Hub at Eandistip in Mechelen presents a new vision on parking infrastructure. The adaptable structure offers parking space for 537 cars and 110 bikes, public rooftop terraces, box-in-box offices and a local supermarket on the ground floor. Following the modal shift in mobility, the program can be completely re-organized with more compact parking and additional functions. As part of a larger urban development at Eandistip, the Mobility Hub sustains smooth traffic flows between centre and periphery and connects to the neighbourhood with the new Welcome Square in front of the building.
