Official opening of main building Plantentuin Meise
Wednesday 30 June, in the presence of Zuhal Demir, minister of environment and tourism, and Hilde Crevits, minister of economy and agriculture, the main building of Plantentuin Meise will be opened to the public.
Together with NU Architectuuratelier, archipelago has worked on the construction of the main building, as well as the renovation of the ‘Vlaamse hoeve’, which will house new offices, guide rooms, a garden shop, and info point for Tourism Flanders. For the landscape around the building, a new square and a future-proof renovation of the lane between entrance and castle will be installed. For the second phase of the masterplan, archipelago will continue work on the renovation of the greenhouse complex, farm, and castle at Plantentuin Meise.
