Renovation of the Bouchout castle and the pachthof in the Botanical garden of Meise: won competition
We are happy to announce that we have won the competiton for the renovation of the ‘pachthof’ and the castle of Bouchout in the Botanical Garden of Meise.
The ‘pachthof’ will be transformed to a visitors restaurant with a lot of nice views and atmospheres. A Belgian garden and roof off the extension, designed as a fifth facade, will connect the Green Ark, the service building and the Castle of Bouchout.
The renovation of the castle will restore its history and it will also optimise the circulation to scale up the possibilities for events and exhibitions. The rooftop will become a new garden with magnificent views over the Botanic garden.
