The R&I team of archipelago is extending its reach with several new research projects, the selection of an academic paper and a 4-day course for clients in the health sector.

Teaching on Framework for Sustainable Healthcare projects (Zorgaddendum GRO) for VIPA – at the request of VIPA (the Flemish administration on healthcare infrastructure) archipelago will co-host in September and October a 4-day course for clients in the healthcare sector on the new sustainability framework for healthcare projects, which archipelago also co-authored. This project is led by KULeuven.

Contributing to the interregional version of the sustainability framework GRO – the mission of archipelago to assist regional administrations on the elaboration of the new interregional version of the sustainability framework GRO is prolonged. In this mission archipelago is co-shaping the backbone of the framework and is working in depth on the topics Climate Responsive Design and Circular Building.

With these research projects, archipelago’s R&I team aims to consolidate its position between academic research and building practice. On both a national and international level, the R&I team is increasingly recognized as a valuable partner with unique insights in sustainable, circular and adaptable building.
